Fiordland, with its stunning landscapes and deep, blue waters, is a true paradise for adventurers. Among those who have explored this remote wilderness is Ollie Craig, the mastermind behind Primal Pursuit. His EPIC adventures in hunting, fishing, and diving have not only thrilled countless thrill-seekers but have also revealed some of the magic that lie within this breathtaking region.

Back in November 2024, we had Ollie and his mates join us on a journey from Bluff to Doubtful Sound.
We departed early for a near 12 hour steam into Preservation Inlet. As soon as we started to approach the entrance, Ollie and his mates were suiting up.
We spent a couple of days in Preservation and Chalky Inlet: free-diving, spear fishing, fishing, snorkelling, a bit of hunting and eating good food.
From Chalky Inlet, we ventured to Dusky Sound, about a four hour steam on the open water.
Again as we approached the entry, the crew were suited up ready for some underwater action which Fiordland certainly loves to provide.
We traveled up the Acheron Passage passing stunning waterfalls and into Breaksea Sound for some more epic adventures.
Our final leg was heading north again to Deep Cove in Doubtful Sound. Plenty of wildlife and scenery to be seen along the way and the crew had a bit of a boogie on the top deck and taking the time to reflect on their epic last five days.
