Includes a 30-minute scenic helicopter flight landing on the vessel inbound.
Return via Deep Cove in Doubtful Sound with a bus over the Wilmot Pass and boat over Lake Manapouri.
Get yourself to Manapouri, which is 20 minutes from Te Anau and we will take care of you from there.

The Tasman Explorer is a 21.5m Vessel.
Onboard we have a diesel stove, three bathrooms, three toilets. We have two cabins with two singles in each room and a larger cabin with three doubles and three singles.

Four nights deep in the remote wilderness of Dusky Sound aboard MV Tasman Explorer — fully crewed, chef-catered, and unlike anything else in New Zealand. This is Part 1 of a back-to-back adventure with filmmaker and outdoorsman Matt Wells. Cost - $5,100 per person
Join Matt Wells and the S.E.A Fiordland crew for four nights exploring one of the most remote and spectacular places on earth. MV Tasman Explorer will be your base as you dive, fish, hunt, kayak, and explore the untouched wilderness of Dusky Sound — with no crowds, no schedules, and no noise.
Getting There:
Access is via a scenic helicopter flight over the layered peaks of Fiordland — the journey in is a highlight in itself. All transfers from Manapouri are included in your price.
What's Included:
Onboard Comfort - Three cabins, three showers, three toilets. Freshwater onboard, drying room, and all linen, towels, and toiletries supplied.
Crew & Catering - A highly experienced skipper, deckhand, and your own personal chef onboard for the duration. All meals, snacks, coffee, tea, and juice included. Alcohol and soft drinks are BYO.
Adventure & Equipment - World-class fishing, hunting, diving, freediving, spearfishing, kayaking, snorkelling, and remote walks to historic sites. All fishing equipment, cray pots, dive tanks and weights, onboard compressor with unlimited refills, tender, four kayaks, and handheld radios for shore excursions.
Wildlife & Wilderness - Experience Seals, dolphins, penguins, and the untouched landscapes of Fiordland. This is as remote as it gets.
Safety & Connectivity - All safety equipment and lifejackets. Internet available if required (group fee, POA).
